As part of our annual Built Fit to Give event, the Sydney Built team are taking part in the City2Surf, all while making a difference by fundraising for a cause that's close to our hearts: Habitat for Humanity. Please support our efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Why Habitat for Humanity Australia?
Habitat for Humanity Australia is dedicated to giving people a hand-up by building homes in partnership with families in Australia and overseas. They work with vulnerable families to build new homes and transform lives. They support the development of housing finance and construction markets so that more working poor families can access affordable and safe housing. They not only build homes, but they also build communities.
Habitat for Humanity Australia addresses water supply and sanitation issues and, in some communities, provides health and educational services – like teaching financial literacy and livelihood training. This vital knowledge can be shared within communities, creating a ‘pay it forward’ model and the beginning of generational change.
